Native American Cherokee Made Ceremonial Horse Spirit Dance Stick by Phoenix Two Moons
Dance sticks are used by Native American braves and warriors as they dance around a campfire. The glass beads represent the colors of the clan or the family. The feathers represent the connection to the great spirit and carry messages and prayers to the gods. The woven "horse blanket" is trimmed in leather and this blanket represents warrior's colors. This Horse Spirit Dance Stick pays tribute to a Warrior's fallen horse. Traditionally a warrior would take some of the mane and tail hair and create this Ceremonial piece to honor his horse and to ask the Spirit of that brave steed to aid the Warrior in his next outing. Feathers will vary. Certificate of authenticity included. Click on numbered boxes below image for additional views.
