Daniel Denet is from Polacca. He has been carving since age fifteen. Daniel is a mix of Laguna, Hopi and Navajo. He originally carved Contemporary-style dolls. Daniel now makes his living by carving the New Traditional-style katsinas. His favorite to carve is the Crow Mother.
