NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN ARTS

Kachina House has an extensive inventory of genuine, handmade Native American Indian Arts and Artifacts available, many that are accompanied by certificates of authenticity. As the largest distributor of Native American Indian arts and artifacts in the state of Arizona, Kachina House offers a comprehensive variety of artifacts and art pieces such as the ever popular knives, hatchets, tomahawks and a wealth of other artifacts like:

*Rattles- We carry a variety of ceremonial Navajo rattles as well as decorative rattles finely crafted by Navajo artist, Leo Holiday. Our rattles include horn rattles, deer foot rattles and turtle rattles, which all have significant places in the Native American ceremonies and include highly symbolic elements.

*Pipes and Peyote Sticks- Our selection of pipes and peyote sticks range from the tiny, four-inch mini-pipe to the fully dressed Peace Shield with crossed arrows and pipe. Don’t miss taking a peek at our beautifully hand carved and beaded elk horn pipes made by the Creek Indians.

*Lances- Four way crossed arrow displays are symbols of friendship and represent a prayer for good health and prosperity. You can find different varieties of these at Kachina House along with old style war lances and spears decorated with traditional elements by Southwestern American Indians.

*War Trophy Shields- These war trophy shields were symbols of victory, made from an element of a spoil of war and displayed proudly.

*Arrows, Quivers, and Bows- We’re proud to offer a wide range of intricately decorated arrows that are all handmade with hand wrapped tips of stone, bone or wood. Each arrow is unique. Our bows are spectacular examples of Native American Indian culture and artistry, and we carry traditional hunting bows as well as prayer bows, which are made of actual rib bones. We also have beautiful bow and gun cases that are also handmade by Native American Indians living here in the Southwest.

*Trail Markers- These are spears or hanging markers rich with elements that are highly symbolic of the particular clan or family that uses them to mark the trail. They are used to mark a territory for a ceremony or meeting, or simply to indicate a family’s home.

*Dance Sticks- Dance sticks are traditionally used by braves and warriors as they danced at the various ceremonies.

*Prayer Fans- These beautiful artifacts are used to send your prayers on the winds to the spirits.

Whichever Native American Indian art or artifacts speaks to you, we’re happy to fulfill any individual, wholesale or special order.
