Jerel Quamahongnewa

Jerel was born into the Hopi Spider Clan at Hotevilla (Third Mesa, AZ) in 1985 and he began carving in 1997. His family holds many responsibilities in maintaining traditional Hopi life. "I like to observe my gradual improvement as a Hopi carver. When I work hard and then see the finished work, I feel good."
