Johnny Wester III

Johnny Wester III (1963- ) of the Bear Strap Clan. Son of Frances Quotskuyva and brother of Gerry Quotskuyva. Taught to carve by Michael Dean Jenkins. Johnny is a very personable young man and when we first took over Kachina House in 2004 he was one of the first Hopi carvers to do business with us. Still, when he carves, which isn't frequently enough, he comes by and gives us first shot at his pieces.
