Native American Ceremonial Gourd Rattle

This rattle is typical of what is used during ceremony. The gourd is painted with your choice of Bear, Kokopelli, or Lizard and is trimmed with rabbit fur, feathers and beads. Traditionally, rattles are carried in the right hand of the dancer. Beads and fur will vary. This artifact is handmade in the southwestern United States. We cannot be certain if it was Native American made.
