Tribal chiefs and medicine men use a “sacred” pipe in ceremonial events to honor Spirits of the past and the future and blessings for peace with the universe. The pipe is made of wood covered with buckskin. Deer or elk horn is used for the bowl and a skull is tied to the bowl. A medicine bag is attached. Decorative feathers, fur and horsehair add to the spirit of the sacred pipe. This pipe is approx. 30" long and appears as if it just came out of a museum. This wonderful artifact is made by Native Americans in the southwestern United States and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
