Native American Hopi Carved Homahtoi Guard Katsina Doll by Alvin Navasie Sr.
Homahtoi is thought to be a Zuni name, and he is presumed to have been introduced to the Hopi from that pueblo. One of many Ichiwo or Angry katsinam, he is not common, but may be seen in Mixed Dances. Many variations exist in the painting of the mask. Click on numbered boxes below image for additional views.
