Native American Hopi Carved Heheya Mana Katsina Doll by Verne Mahkee
Heheya Kachin Mana is common on First Mesa but progressively less so on Second and Third Mesas. She usually accompanies the Nataskas on their food collecting trips. When food is offered that is inferior or is not offered at all, she whistles and attempts to rope the boys or men and drag them away. This is a beautifully carved Katsina by Verne Mahkee.
