Native American Hopi Handbuilt and Handpainted Bowl by Rondina Huma
Beautiful bowl by Hopi potter Rondina Huma (b. 1947- ). This wonderful bowl shows the "blush" that potters work to achieve. The areas that are warmer and darker red/orange are from the above-ground firing the Pueblo potters utilize. This wonderful bowl is beautifully painted. This piece is from a private collection and this older piece has some of the scuffs and wear marks that one would assume would be present on a pot that is certainly at least 40 years old.
