Native American Acoma Handbuilt and Handpainted Chicken by unknown potter
Old and lovely Chicken Pot handbuilt and handpainted by unknown Acoma potter. This piece is from a private collection and has some of the scuffs and wear marks that one would assume would be present on a pot that is certainly at least 40 years old. The base of the chicken is dated 1956 and the adult children of the original owner remember this chicken being on their kitchen table when they were very young.
