Q: Are all of your items made by Native Americans?

A: All of the items that are on this website and most (99.9%) of the items we sell in our shop in Sedona are made by Native Americans here in the southwestern United States.

 

Q: Will I recieve exactly what is shown on the website?

A: It depends. With Hopi Kachinas and jewelry, yes. With regard to pottery and artifacts, not necessarily. Each of these pieces is made by hand. Feathers, beads and fur colors will vary. Etching on the pottery differs from piece to piece. No two are alike. In particular, the horsehair pottery shown on the site is for representational purposes only. We have thousands of pieces in the shop at any time and have no control over the etched designs.

 

Q: How soon after I place my order will you ship it?

A: In general, we ship same day. If not, we ship the next business day after the order is received.

 

Q: How do you ship?

A: Our standard method is UPS Ground. We always try to use the most economical method for our customers.

 

Q: How do you know the value of  a Hopi Kachina?

A: Our best advice is to buy from only reputable dealers in Native American art. Value is based on many things: traditional or contemporary doll; skill of the carver in carving and painting; popularity or rarity of the particular doll and other issues. Educate yourself and purchase only from reputable sources.
