Native American Quivers & Bow Cases

At Kachina House we carry a vast selection of Native American reproduction quivers, handmade by artists from various tribes. Crafted and accented with natural materials, we offer unique objects of art and craft.

Our reproduction weapons are handmade by Native American Navajo and Cherokee artisans. Any piece would be a beautiful addition to a collection. We have traditional leather quivers, quivers enhanced with fur pelts and others complemented with knives. All of our pieces are accompanied by certificates of authenticity. If you have a preference regarding the fur and color of your weapon and/or weapon holder, we will do our best to provide it.

A quiver is a highly personalized item. Native American men would be given small quivers as young boys and as they became men and warriors, they would get the larger or full-size quivers similar to those that we stock. Each warrior was unique in how he carried the quiver and how the quiver was decorated. Many quivers would be simple, made of leather and decorated with a medicine wheel to pray for the good health of the warrior. Some quivers would be covered in a prized pelt. These pelts showed the hunting prowess of the warrior and also might indicate a warrior from a northern climate.
