Zuni Carved Bear Fetish by Daryl Shack Sr.

This wonderful bear with his sweet face was carved by Zuni artist Daryl Shack Sr. from a found rock at Zuni. When Darryl finds these rocks, the rock speaks to him and he leaves much of these carvings in the natural formation of the stone. The bear is accented with lapis eyes and finished with an offering bundle of turquoise, coral, and shell. Bear is the guardian of the West. Bear is associated with great strength and is considered to be a powerful healer.
