Kevin Masawiestewa

Kevin was born in 1976 into the Sun Clan. He has been carving since the early 1990s. he handcarves with a pocketknife and then sands and paints with natural minerl pigments. He likes to see what his ideas look like when they come to life in his hands. He is a great carver and a really sweet guy. He is always ready to do a little extra or come in with some unusual Katsina that we haven't seen in some time. He was taught to carve by Kevin Sekakuku and Philbert Honanie.
