This wonderful solid wood mask is a new art form for Richard Gorman. Migration symbols, the four directions, friendship, and mountains are among the symbols painted onto the surface. Beautiful feathers from many different birds adorn the piece. The earrings and "shell" medallion are carved from wood as well. A great new style for Richard whose combined Hopi/Navajo heritage brings symbolic meaning from both cultures to his work.
