Native American Cherokee Made Snake Rattle
Native American Cherokee Made Snake Rattle by William Swimmer
This fabulous snake rattle was carved from walnut by William Swimmer, a member of Qualla Arts and Crafts from the Cherokee Reservation in Cherokee, NC. This beautifully carved one-of-a-kind rattle has great sound. The snake, from the depths of the earth, the eagle from the skies, combine into a rattle for ceremony. The snake at one end with fangs showing; his coils are the handle and at the end, an eagle claw holding an egg. A truly amazing piece. Certificate of Authenticity is included.
