Native American Hopi Carved Buffalo Maiden Katsina Sculpture

Description
Native American Hopi Carved Buffalo Maiden Katsina Sculpture by Prinston Collateta
It is said that the Buffalo Maiden is a dancer, not a Katsina. She has white on her head to indicate the first snow of winter. This carving is a little unusual for Prinston for it shows a Buffalo Maiden wrapped in a buffalo hide. Very powerful and peaceful, with the pueblo carved in the base.
