Wonderful handbuilt and handpainted traditional bowl by Hopi potter Bernadette Poleahla. This beautiful pot has a handprint on the interior. This sign was used to proclaim "we were here" by the Native People as they migrated due to weather and for food throughout the southwest. The exterior of this bowl is painted with Hopi symbols for migration. The migration indicates the path we are on as individuals and collectively. Pottery ring included.
