1960s-80s Native American Navajo Made Sand Cast Belt Buckle with Kingman Turquoise by Atkinson Trading Co.

This wonderful Sterling silver open buckle was created using the sand-casting method and has a hinged back. The buckle is highlighted with a Kingman turquoise stone. A wonderful simple and durable piece of Native American jewelry. The Atkinson Trading Company employed Native American artisans to create their pieces. This was created by a Navajo silversmith. This piece came from a private collection and is available with or without the belt which has never been worn. The belt is a size 37 tapered by James Reid from Santa Fe, NM. It is lizard skin and is 1.5 inches wide.
