Our reproduction weapons are genuine and handmade in the southwest by Native American Navajo, Cherokee, and Tigua artisans. Any piece would be a beautiful addition to a collection. We have traditional leather quivers, quivers enhanced with fur pelts and others complemented with knives. All of our pieces are accompanied by certificates of authenticity and if you have a preference about the fur and color of your weapon and/or weapon holder, we will do our best to have it created to your liking.
Quivers are highly personalized items. Native Americans would be given small quivers as young boys and as they became men and warriors, they would get the larger or full-size quivers similar to those that we sell. Each warrior was unique in how he carried the quiver and how the quiver was decorated. Many quivers would be very simple, made of leather and decorated with a medicine wheel to pray for the good health of the warrior. Some quivers would be covered in a prized pelt. These pelts showed the hunting prowess of the warrior and also might indicate a warrior from a northern climate.
