1965-70 Native American Navajo Made Turquoise Squash Blossom Necklace by Jimmy Long (1930-1973)

This beautiful natural Persian turquoise squash blossom necklace uses traditional Sterling silver bench beads and is finished with a hook and eye. The naja is 4 inches tall x 3.375 inches wide and this squash has a 32 inch necklace. The silverwork on the squash blossoms is wonderful and the turquoise is spectacular. This is one of the larger necklaces we have had. Most have five blossoms on each side, this one has seven.
