Mata Ortiz Handbuilt and Handetched Seed Pot by Efren Ledezma

This wonderful seed pot with spectacular etching of lizards chasing all around the pot was handbuilt, painted and etched by Mata Ortiz resident Efren Ledezma. This type of pot would be used to store seeds in the winter; in the springtime the seeds would be planted and the pot would be shattered. Pottery ring included.
