This fully-functional spectacular peace pipe with pipestone silver inlay (both sides) circular bowl was handcrafted by Santee Sioux Indian Pete Musil (Heyoka). Pete made pipes for over 45 years. He liked to fish, gamble, tell stories, fix cars...and he played guitar for the Gordon Bird Band. The pipestone comes from Pipestone, Minnesota. The bowl is 4 inches in diameter, .75 inches thick and 7.875 inches long. The opening is approx .375 in. dia. Pipe has a curved wooden stem that is trimmed with leather and beads. We have never seen a pipe like this and probably will not again.
