This gourd pot has six beautifully painted lizards with jet eyes appearing as if they are dancing with each other. The lizard symbolizes patience and wisdom for this reptile lives in a very harsh environment and knows where to find water and when to seek shade from the glaring desert sun. This is a fabulous piece, each of the spines of the lizards is cut through into the gourd. The top is finished with grasses woven around the rim.
