This gourd has a turtle painted on one side with jet eyes and a circle of snake skin for his shell accented with a turquoise stone in Sterling silver. The back of the gourd shows a dragonfly in the center of a four directions. A beautiful gourd pot by Robert. The turtle represents longevity, and it is believed by some Native Americans that we are living on the back of a turtle.
