This wonderful figure with her pots shows a woman at work. This woman has a pot wrapped in her arms and another at her feet. She gets the water from the springs and brings it back home to have water for cooking and drinking. This piece was created from a gourd and is dressed in fabric and trimmed with deer suede. Her earrings are Navajo-style turquoise slabs. She has a necklace of turquoise which completes her outfit. This beautiful little woman free stands on a slab of petrified wood. The little pot that is next to her is adhered to the stand
