Roadrunner (Hospoa) appears during the nighttime Kiva Dances or during the Mixed Katsina Dances in the spring. He is one of many bird Katsinam of the Hopi. He is a side dancer and an inhabitant of the arid southwest desert. This Roadrunner by Eric has wonderful motion and a classic stand carved to look like the skeleton of a cactus.
