1950s-1970s Native American Zuni Made Owl Bolo by Theodore Edaakie
This wonderful Zuni made Sterling silver bolo with inlaid owl with mooon and four directions is 3.75 inches long by 3 inches wide. Owl is a silent hunter, keeper of the night. The owl is often revered by those who provide food for the People. This bolo hangs on a braided leather cord with Sterling silver tips that have owl dangles (2.75 inches long complete). A very classic and beautifully done piece attributed to Zuni silversmith Theodore Edaakie.
