Native American Navajo Made Bolo with Bow, Crossed Arrows and Turquoise--Vintage
Description
1970s Native American Navajo Made Bolo with Bow, Crossed Arrows and Turquoise
This very unusual bolo was created by an unknown Navajo silversmith. The mandala frame is four inches in diameter. Silver wires attaches a silver piece, meant to represent a hide which has some scrollwork and two natural turquoise stones. Attached to that and removable from the mandala are a bow and two arrows. All crafted by hand out of Sterling silver. The The bolo tie is finished with classic squash blossom Sterling silver tips. A really interesting piece of Native American art to wear.
