This simple lapis and turquoise necklace is accented with Zuni carved lapis horse fetishes. This piece was handmade by Lakota Pasquale Yacqui silversmith Theresa Meyette. The necklace is 22 inches long and finished with a lobster claw closure. Horses enabled the people to travel further, faster and with less loss of energy so that hunting was more efficient and successful.
