1930s Native American Navajo Made Box Bow Squash Blossom Necklace

This beautiful circa 1936-1939 Sterling Silver Box Bow Squash Blossom Necklace with Naja was made by an unknown Navajo silversmith. This traditional Navajo necklace is accented with natural turquoise stones and finished with handmade benchmark beads and classic flutes that accent the stones. This older piece is very delicate and is still on its original chain. The hook and eye have been replaced. The necklace is missing one small benchbead on one side and you can tell that the chain has stretched slightly over the years. The necklace is 20 inches long and is finished with a Naja that is 2.25 inches tall. This is a beautiful piece of Native American history to wear and enjoy.
