1970s Native American Navajo Made Cuff Bracelet with Gel Sugilite by Nusie Henry

This spectacular Sterling silver cuff was made by Navajo master silversmith Nusie Henry. Nusie usually worked with her husband George; however this piece was crafted by Nusie alone. This beautiful stylized piece with its grape jelly sugilite is .5 inches wide; the stone is .75 in. tall. The gel sugilite is a rare semiprecious stone from South Africa and is more valuable the more it looks like grape jelly. This is a perfect example of grape jelly. The cuff has a 5 inch interior dimension and a 1.25 inch gap.
