1980s Native American Zuni Made Fetish Necklace by Leonard and Lavina Kaskalla

This delicate fetish necklace was created by Zuni artists Leonard and Lavina Kaskalla (1938- ). This older piece was created using shell, turquoise, spiny oyster, serpentine, lapis, pipestone, and jet. The animals are all hand cut separated with pinshell, coral and natural turquoise nuggets. The necklace has a dangle of two birds with pinshell separating them. This classic fetish necklace is finished with Sterling silver hook and eye. A wonderful piece of southwestern Native American Indian art to wear and enjoy.
