1970s Native American Santo Domingo Made Turquoise and Shell Necklace

This wonderful necklace is made of spiny oyster and turquoise. The ends are finished with Sterling silver balls and a hook and eye clasp. A classic and historic piece of wearable art. Each piece was hand-cut and hand ground into beads. Only a couple families did this type of work, we are sorry that we cannot pin down which family would have created this piece.
