The strand features free-form turquoise nuggets and polished melon shell discs, interspersed with gleaming Sterling silver beads for contrast. Uniquely, the design incorporates four small Zuni-style carved bears. In many Indigenous traditions, the bear is a revered fetish representing strength, introspection, and healing. Meyette’s composition balances these traditional elements into a harmonious, wearable work of art, finished with a secure silver hook closure.
