This fully functional peace pipe has a pipestone eagle head carved bowl and wood stem trimmed with beads and leather. This pipe was handcrafted in the southwest by Santee Sioux Indian J. D. Wallenberg (Loud Thunder). The pipestone comes from Pipestone, Minnesota. The bowl is 3.5 in. long and 2.25 in. tall. The head is .875 in. wide and the bowl is .5 in. dia. In many Native cultures it is believed that Eagle is the messenger between the People and the Great Spirit.
