This wonderful simple traditional ghost bead necklace with turquoise beads was handcrafted by Navajo silversmith Andrea Begay. These traditional necklaces are dried juniper or cedar berries that are usually lightly smoked and strung in a classic manner. These necklaces are thought to represent a connection between the earth, trees, animals and humans. The necklace is said to bring peace, harmony and safely to the wearer. The multiple photo shows five necklaces; they are quite dramatic in multiples.
