Native American Navajo Made Maiden Clay Sculpture by David John

This wonderful clay sculpture of a Navajo maiden was created by master Navajo artist David John. David is well-known for his clay sculptural work and his portrayal of his unique vision of the Navajo ceremonies. This maiden is wrapped in blankets to keep warm while she attends the early morning ceremonies. The front of her is covered in stars, the top of her robe showing the sun, the bottom showing the deep colors of the early evening red sky. The blue accent ribbon represents water. This maiden is sure to be a focal point in any room.
