Native American Navajo Made Turquoise, Glass and Ghost Bead Chokers
Description
Native American Navajo Made Turquoise, Glass and Ghost Bead Chokers by Andrea Begay
These wonderful simple single strands of glass beads, turquoise and ghost bead chokers were handcrafted by Navajo silversmith Andrea Begay. The ghost beads are dried juniper or cedar berries that are usually lightly smoked and strung in a classic manner; they are thought to represent a connection between the earth, trees, animals and humans. The jewelry is said to bring peace, harmony and safety to the wearer. These are very festive worn as a group or individually. Lobster claw closures.
