Vintage Native American Navajo Rug--Chief's Blanket by an unknown Navajo weaver

This sampler rug was created in a Chiefs blanket pattern by an unknown Navajo weaver. These smaller pieces are created by the weavers to test patterns before they make it into a larger piece. We are happy to have these smaller examples of Navajo weaving in our shop. This deep red has historically been linked to Ganado, AZ where it received the name "Ganado Red." This piece is in perfect condition.
