Native American Navajo Rug by Jessie Howe

This multiple terrace pattern was created by Navajo weaver Jessie Howe from Two Grey Hills, AZ. This is a very soft all natural weaving, a great example of weaving and this particular piece has a spirit line. The line is woven to allow the weaver's spirit to not get trapped in the piece. We are happy to have these smaller examples of Navajo weaving in our shop. I took a closeup of the corner as well as the center so you can see the weave.
