Native American Zuni Carved Seed God Fertility Katsina Doll by Felino Eriacho (Zuni)

This wonderful Seed God is carved from cottonwood root then painted with natural pigments. He is clothed in cotton and trimmed with yarn. He holds a grinding stone in one hand and a sack of seed in the other. He brings the seed to Zuni for the planting season. A fabulous doll that we have not seen until this moment.
