This is a wonderful piece created by Anderson Peyneta Jr and his mother, Avelina. This large traditional pot is painted with frogs all over the surface. Frog is a water sign and as water is one of the most vital parts of life for the Pueblo people, he is always held in high regard. The red and black together with the pure white highlights on the frogs makes this an outstanding example of Native American craft.
