1950s Native American Hopi Made Shalako and Parrot Overlay Necklace

This spectacular necklace with large medallion of a Shalako and the smaller medallions of the parrot was created by one of the Hopi artist's from the early days of Hopi Silvercraft Guild on Second Mesa. The necklace with handcrafted bench beads is 23 inches long. The main medallion is 1.625 inches in diameter. The small medallions are .75 inches in diameter. This remarkable piece is signed with a lazy A and STERLING.
