Vintage Native American Santo Domingo Made Spiny Oyster and Turquoise Necklace

This wonderful older necklace is made of spiny oyster and turquoise. Each piece was hand-cut and hand ground into beads. This fabulous older piece is simply strung on cord. This is a very traditional necklace with a jaclaw of turquoise and spiny oyster. A classic and historic piece of wearable art. Only a couple families did this type of work, we are sorry that we cannot pin down which family would have created this piece.
