This wonderful Altar Doll by Marvelita Phillips was inspired by the carved figures of Teddy Weahkee and are like Corn Maidens. Corn Maidens represent women and their important place in Zuni culture. This wonderful, almost whimsical piece was carved from antler and accented with feathers, coral and turquoise.
