Beautiful buffalo carved from marble with turquoise eyes by Zuni artist Herbert Him. The buffalo represents good medicine, the fulfillment of powers and steadfast endurance. The buffalo was the mainstay of the Plains Indians and was used for food as well as shelter, clothing and weapons.
