Zuni Carved Horned Toad Fetish by Hudson Sandy

This serpentine horned toad with turquoise and marble eyes was carved by Zuni artist Hudson Sandy. This wonderful carving with his front feet forming a heart represents grandfather, health, strength and longevity. Hudson is a remarkable carver. The scales on the horned toad's head and back as well as the medicine wheel and prayer feathers are really wonderful additions.
