Large buffalo carved from fluorite with turquoise eyes and spirit line by Zuni artist Kenric Laiwakete. The buffalo represents good medicine, the fulfillment of powers and steadfast endurance. The buffalo was the mainstay of the Plains Indians and was used for food as well as shelter, clothing and weapons.
